WHAT WE DO
We work with public, private and third-sector organisations, including local authorities, their commercial companies, joint ventures, shareholders and boards.
Recent work includes developing and delivering commercial recovery plans for high-profile local authorities and their commercial entities, and conducting commercial governance reviews for shareholders and board directors.
We have also undertaken board reviews for group companies in the technical services sector, as well as governance and risk reviews on behalf of shareholders across a range of sectors.
Our work helps organisations strengthen accountability, improve commercial performance, manage risk and build confidence between boards, shareholders and senior management teams.
ABOUT US
Ethical Commercial was created by Michael Hainge FRSA and Ian Edward CPFA to provide senior-level, independent advice to public and private sector organisations.
Between them, Michael and Ian bring more than half a century of combined experience in commercial, financial, operational and business-development leadership roles.
Ian is a qualified accountant, a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, a law graduate and a former Commercial Director with a blue-chip FTSE 50 company.
Michael is a qualified and accredited civil and commercial mediator, registered with the Civil Mediation Council, and a practising psychotherapist. He is an accredited member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society and a Fellow of the RSA.
Together, they help clients strengthen governance, improve commercial performance, manage risk and resolve complex relationship and stakeholder challenges.
